What we collect through this website, and what we do with it.
Effective August 2026. Best Friends Pet Hospital (“we”, “us”) operates this website and the veterinary practice at 911 W Foothill Blvd, Monrovia, CA 91016. This page explains what we collect through the website, why, and what choices you have.
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. That is usually your name, phone number, email address, your pet’s name and species, and whatever you tell us about the reason for the visit. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
We use the details you send to reply to you, to schedule and confirm appointments, and to keep your pet’s record accurate. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Ticking the text-message box on a form tells us it is all right to reach you by SMS about that request. It is optional — you can submit any form without it, and we will call or email you instead. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop text messages; you can also just tell us at your next visit.
Medical records created during a visit are kept in the practice, not on this website. We release them to you, or to another veterinarian at your request, and otherwise only where the law requires it.
Some links take you to companies we work with — Cherry for payment plans, our online pharmacy, Google Maps, and our review pages. Once you are on their site, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
This site uses only the cookies WordPress needs to work properly. We do not run advertising trackers on it. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies if you prefer.
Form submissions are kept as long as we need them to serve you and to meet California record-keeping requirements, then deleted.
This site is meant for adults arranging care for their animals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
